Google Lens lets you use a photo to quickly perform a visual search. You may want to check out the images you have scanned till now using the Lens. Luckily, you can view the image search history in Google Lens and even delete it. The catch is that you’ll need to enable a setting first. Only then you can view your images search history in Google Lens. Here’s how to turn on and view your Google Lens image search history.

You must activate your visual search history on your Google account to access Google Lens search images. Once activated, only images searched after enabling will be stored in the search history.

1. Enable Visual Search History for Google Lens on Mobile

1. Open the Google app and tap on your profile icon. Now select Google Account on Android or Manage your Google Account on iPhone.

2. Then go to Data and privacy, scroll down a little, and tap on Web & App Activity.

3. Now tap on the box before Include visual search history to select it. Information about the visual search history will appear on your screen; review the details and tap Turn on. Visual search history has been successfully activated.

2. Enable Visual Search History for Google Lens on Computer

The process of enabling visual search history is the same on mobile and computer but the user interface is completely different. You can enable visual search history for Google Lens on the computer by following the steps mentioned below.

1. Open the Google home page on your browser. Click on the profile icon and select Manage your Google Account.

2. Now, from the left option, select Data & privacy and click on Web & App Activity.

3. After this, click on the box before Include Visual Search History to enable this.

4. You will get a prompt on your screen explaining further about enabling visual search history. Once you review the details, click on Turn On.

Tip: The Google Lens app is not available on the desktop like it is on mobile. But we have some tricks for you to access and use Google Lens on a desktop.

You can view the Google Lens history with images on your mobile and computer if signed in from the same Google account that is being used for Google Lens searches. Here’s how.

On Mobile

1. Navigate to Google Account > Data and privacy > Web & App Activity as mentioned in the previous method. Now under See and delete activity, tap on the Google Lens icon.

2. Here you will see your Google lens search history with images. You cannot view the image on full-screen here but you can download it and then view it on full-screen.

3. To download, tap on the image from the history and it will open on the web page where you will get a prompt to download the image. Tap on Download and it will be saved on your mobile.

On Computer

1. Navigate to Google Account > Data and privacy > Web & App Activity as mentioned in the previous method. Now under See and delete activity, click on the Google Lens icon.

2. Here you can see your Google lens search history with images. To view the image in full screen, click on it, and it will be automatically downloaded and saved on your computer.
